Great success for the Re-Cycling Fair in Austria

Leibnitz, Austria

Approximately 350 visitors were drawn to Leibnitz on March 15 2024 for the grand Re-Cycling fair, organized by the EASY DRIVERS cycling school, HAK/HAS Leibnitz, and the municipality of Leibnitz as part of the Erasmus+ project.

The fair offered its visitors a wide range of informational booths and activities. At least eight booths were to be visited by all attendees and successfully left with the teacher’s signature. This ensured that the fair provided added value for all visitors and could contribute to increased safety and enjoyment of cycling in the future.

In addition to booths for the general presentation of the project, there were also various stations providing information on road safety in general or on the functionality and control of a bicycle. Special Olympics also did important information work at their booth, providing information and training on handbikes. The EASY DRIVERS cycling school offered a wide range of activities at various booths.

For example, they provided information on training to become cycling instructors and on the use of e-bikes, scooters, and e-scooters. A special attraction was certainly the repair booth and the skills course from the EASY DRIVERS cycling school, where amateur mechanics and bicycle enthusiasts could demonstrate their skills.
